This is an incredible shot, I did wonder what I was looking at to begin with as the smaller view does not do it justice.
I love the detail, the sharpness of the immage is clear and the fact that I can see the dimples in the carpace is testament to that.
It is wonderfull to see a beetle of this kind so closely, a very humbling picture as it shows natures true strength and beauty.
I love the way the light hits the back of the beetle too.
You have done a fantastic job capturing the antteni and the upper body of this little fellow.
The colours are simple, nothing needs to be done to enhance it at all, as I say with all nature photos why change natural beauty.
I am not sure of the type of beetle this is so it would be useful if you put in your comment the name of creature you have taken here.
A great shot, that gives us something to think about, nature rules us in many ways.
